 Serve Team MissionServe Teams allow people to use their gifts to serve God in the church. Serve Teams are vital to the life and ministry of The Way, and participation on Serve Teams is essential to a thriving and growing faith in the life of our people. We’d love for you to plug in where you feel called. Check out some of the opportunities below, and also feel free to contact the coordinator for more info. Serve Team List Clean-Up Team (Coordinator - Eric & Myra Thomas) Help clean up the facility throughout the week in preparation for Sunday morning. Schedules usually run about once every 5 weeks. This is a great way to serve on your own schedule. Hospitality (Coordinator - Mandy Lackey) Help provide, serve, and oversee snacks and drinks on Sunday mornings, as well as be a smiling face. Nursery (Coordinator - Emily McInnis) This is a great way to serve if you love working with babies and toddlers. Help our paid nursery staff provide a loving atmosphere for kids. Children's Ministry (Children's Pastor - Amy Hall) Help Mrs. Amy lead and teach during Children’s Worship on Sundays.  Student Ministry (Student Pastor - Adam Witter)Help lead or chaperone student small groups or activities. Audio/Visual Technology (Technical Director - Jason Bunzey) Help run sound, computer, and lights for Sundays. Greeters (Coordinator - Bill Wolfrom) Greet and welcome guests on Sunday Mornings. Ushers (Coordinators - James Teague & Britton Lockhart) Help take up offering as well has help latecomers find places to sit. Administrative Support (Ministry Assist. - Gail Pulliam) Help with administrative tasks such as letters and mailings. Prayer & Care Team (Prayer & Care Pastor - Dorothy Harden) Pray with and for people on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Sign Duty Team (Coordinator - Shane Mayfield) Help put out parking signs on campus and on adjacent parking lots on Sundays before & after worship. |
