Worship Times: Sundays at 10:00 am and 11:30 am  "Dangerous Christians" with The Orchard Church On Sundays, June 29, July 6 and July 13, we'll be partnering with The Orchard Church in Loganville for a message series called "Dangerous Christians." We'll be looking at followers of Jesus that are dangerous to both the world and the Kingdom of God. Don't miss Dangerous Christians. Random Kindness Outreach This Sunday, July 6, we'll meet at Grayson City Park in Grayson at 2:30 to organize for a joint-Random Kindness with the Orchard Church. We'll be handing out free cokes and washing cars for free. It's a great way to give together as a family. Picnic with The Orchard After our Random Kindness Outreach, we'll celebrate at Grayson City Park with a Picnic. All the food is provided. We'll have a kickbal & dodgeball games and lots of fun times. PROJECT NEW HOPE We are starting a ministry called PROJECT NEW HOPE where we will make minor home repairs around the community for families that are unable to afford it. We’ll also be doing some painting and landscaping just to spruce things up. We’re starting this ministry with the Ezzard Street duplexes near The Way. Our goal is to reach out to these families by helping to provide a home that is safe and warm. PROJECT NEW HOPE will be working from 9:00 am –1:00 pm the 3rd Saturday of each month~April thru August. The next Project New Hope Workday will be June 21. We will be vacuuming and steam cleaning carpets, cleaning the street area, repairing mailboxes and repairing an exterior door. We will provide lunch at 1:00 pm for everyone who attends. Please bring any appropriate tools, a beach towel to sit on for lunch and meet at The Way at 9:00 am. We need workers of all ages and skill levels to join us as we strive to provide "new hope" to our neighbors on Ezzard Street. Pastor’s Bible Study Starting on Monday Nights. Want to learn more about the Bible? Want to test out what a LIFE Group might be like? On Mondays, through July 7, Pastor Carter McInnis will be leading a Bible Study here at The Way at 6:30 p.m. There’s no homework, no prep for the class, and all levels of Bible knowledge are invited to participate. We’ll be taking a look at God’s Word and digging through it together. This is open to all people and is a great way to grow deeper in your faith over the summer. If you or your child hasn't been baptized and you'd like to be, this is the opportunity for youThe Baptism Course for all participants (and parents) is on Monday, July 21, at 6:30 p.m. You can sign up at the INFO Table. Membership Covenant Class = MC2 Our next Membership Covenant Class will be on July 27 at 1:30 p.m. We’ll meet in My Father’s House. MC2 is for anyone interested in making a membership covenant to Church of the Way. You’re not obligated to join if you attend, as all are invited who want to find out what it means to be a member. It’s sort of like confirmation. Students can learn more about Christianity and the Bible and ask any questions they have. Contact will begin on Sunday, August 17 @ 5:30. You pick the movies! SHOWTIME is a series coming up this August at Church of the Way, and you get to be a part of it like never before. We’ll be taking your favorite movies and talk about how they relate to how God wants us to live. Here’s the catch – you get to pick the movies. Starting now and all throughout the summer, you get to submit your favorite movies and why you think they are worthy of a message all their own.
